Biographical Information:

Katie is the middle child of Fred and Charlene Moss, younger sister of Donna Moss and older sister of Shanda Moss.  She also has a brother named Jack.

 Katie was born in Laguna Niguel on August 24, 1981.  She attended local elementary and high school in Laguna Niguel.  She was an average student, and had a tendency to "hang" with the wrong people in school.  Katie had been picked up on occasion for curfew violations and underage drinking.  However, Katie did not fit the mold of a juvenile delinquent.  She enjoyed having a good time with friends, and was never in any serious trouble. 

 Katie's SAT scores were not high enough to get her into college.  Upon graduating from high school, Katie had planned to take courses at Saddleback College.  She had recently interviewed for a position at Crown Books and, had she lived, would have been accepted for employment. 

 Katie's father, Fred, works in construction.  Her mother, Charlene, is in direct marketing (Shaklee and Nutralife) and is very involved with her church (Baptist).  Katie's sisters, Donna and Shanda, are students in college and elementary school, respectively.  Katie's brother, Jack, is a Corporal in Force Recon stationed at Camp Pendleton.  Katie's murder has affected him the most, and rumors are he has vowed to take "action" against Ally Farson.
