Biographical Information:

Kristin was the only daughter of Jake and Charlotte Brennan.  She had two younger brothers, Sean and Patrick. 

 Kristin was born March 18, 1980 in Laguna Niguel.  She lived on the same street as Katie, and the two of them were the best of friends.  Because of an illness, Kristin missed a school year, so she was one grade behind the rest of her age group.  This did not seem to bother Kristin, however.  Kristin attended the same schools as Katie, and they did everything together.  She was an above average student, but decided to stay home and help her mother, Charlotte, who was widowed two years ago when Kristin's father was killed in a driving accident. 

 Kristin had been working part time at Saddleback Medical Center in their records department after school and in the morning on weekends.  She had her position changed to full time after graduating from high school. 

 Kristin's father, Jack, was a truck driver killed when his air brakes failed when going down a mountain.  Her mother, Charlotte, is presently general manager of the Ritz Carlton in Dana Point.  Both Kristin's brothers, Sean and Patrick, are students in elementary school
