Is Ally Farson real? What about this website?

The investigation has appeared in the newspapers and on radio over the past 3 weeks. The original murders were somewhat related but investigators did not believe they were looking for one suspect given the fact DNA evidence at the scenes suggested otherwise.

The website was setup to share clues and information the public may not be aware of or have access to. This website also is promoting the documentary that will be released, pending legal arguments, in December or January.

How many people has she killed?

Ally Farson is believed to have killed 7 people ( one body has not at this time been recovered ). These murders occurred in the Orange County between June and August of this year.

Why is Ally Farson killing people? Is she psychotic?

Background information on Ally Farson has been diagnosed as Paranoid Schizophrenic with delusions. Her history ( as researched by 3 reliable sources ) has indicated she was suicidal growing up and was subjected to physical and mental abuse by her father. Officially, the police have released that Ally Farson is suffering from Acute Personality Disorder.

How many hours of footage was delivered to ShadowMan Entertainment?

Approximately 20 hours of footage was provided to ShadowMan Entertainment in 8mm digital format. Copies of this footage were provided to Police Investigators.

When will the film be released? Will I be able to see the film in a theatre or video?

It is expected that the film will be released in December 1999 or early January 2000. There are cases in the courts currently to prevent the release of this movie. As well, court injunctions are being sought to prevent the release or distribution on the Internet of the video coverage currently online. It is the view of the legal advisors at ShadowMan Entertainment that this footage can be shown as it does not jeopardize the current investigation. If in the event the courts rule against ShadowMan Entertainment, these videos will be removed in order to comply with a court order.

The film documentary will likely be released in theatres first with video distribution to follow. Contact your local theatre chains for further information. Due to the enormous distribution costs, a limited number of theatres will debut the film.

Who is Detective Ray DeLima? Why is he talking about the case publicaly?

Detective Ray DeLima was the original lead investigator on the case. Working with the Orange County Sheriff's Office,
Detective Delima has been embroiled in controversy since day one of the investigation. His upbringing and attitude towards the senior authorities in the office have made for a rough go.

What is significant of his involvement is his willingness to release non-public information about the investigation to ShadowMan Entertainment. Some ( not all ) of this information has been provided on the site and has been duly marked as Unreleased Public Information.

Has anyone survived an assault from Ally Farson and can positively identify her?

From all information available to investigators, no one has survived an attack from Ally Farson. The first victim ( referred to as John Doe ) has not been located at this time. The investigators are keeping very tight lipped about this area of the investigations and the public sentiment is that this person may still be alive but not come forward due in part to the publicity and potential threat. It is also felt that once Ally Farson is arrested and taken into custody, he will be located.

How often do you update the website with new information?

Efforts are underway to update this website weekly as press reports are released and more information is gathered. We are receiving some attention from the media networks and one cable network has expressed an interest in a public television documentary of their own to be released in early December.

I heard on a local radio station that ShadowMan is being sued for displaying the film footage and putting up the website. Is this true?

Although we cannot openly discuss any pending court action or legal proceedings against ShadowMan Entertainment, we can acknowledge that we are facing "increased pressure" from victims' family members and the police authorities. More information will be released via our media page.

Is there a possibility the film may NOT be shown or not be released.

Sadly there is a real possibility of this. Robert Lambert, president of ShadowMan Entertainment has indicated publicaly and in a recent news interview with a television station ( we are not releasing which one at this time ) that if the courts prevent the documentary from being made or the tapes released, he will see that the entire video footage will be displayed on the Internet for all to see. This is against the advice he has received from his legal advisors.

On the website, you have a section called Recent Clues and Theories. Can we post our own theories or ideas?

Yes. In fact it has always been believed that by providing information, clues and evidence online, that visitors and the general public may recognize or shed some light on the investigation, thus assisting the police with their investigation.

Some of the media reports have claimed Ally Farson is sick and quite unbalanced. What information do we know about this?

As indicated in an earlier question, Ally Farson does suffer from Acute Personality Disorder and has been diagnosed as Paranoid Schizophrenic with delusions. She was suicidal growing up and was subjected to physical and mental abuse by her father.

You hear of few female killers. Is it common for someone like Ally to go out and commit serial murders like she has?

Female serial killers are few and far between ( thankfully). What is not common is the special circumstances surrounding the ongoing police investigation and some of the evidence being released at this time.

Hundreds of people are killed each year. What makes this case different?

Again, sadly dozens of people are murdered each year as a result of domestic violence, gang violence, poor economy and the list goes on. What is unique about this case is:

• The suspect is a female responsible for multiple killings
• She uses a blunt instrument ( see Pathology ).
• Her profile is unique and FBI psychologists and taskforce members openly admit they have not seen anyone that fits this suspect. It is very important to note that police have suggested she may not have acted alone.
• Ally Farson has acted unpredictably and it has been difficult to determine if she will kill again. *

* Since the last murder, Ally Farson has not been seen or located. There have been no additional murders that can be attributed to her at this time.
