Murdered July 11th 1999
Name of  victim #4: Katie Moss

Description:  Female, white, 18 years, 5'4", 125 lbs., ash brown hair/green eyes, no distinguishing marks or tattoos

Location of body: The deceased was found lying by the telephones located just to the left of the front entrance to the Market. 

Comments:  The victim's death was from strangulation and a broken neck.  The murder weapon was a telephone cord of a pay phone located outside Monarch Beach Mini-Mall.  This event occurred after Moss and the other victim, Brennan, along with their boyfriends, began hazing Ally Farson outside of the Mini-Mall.  According to witnesses (who failed to notify the authorities because they believed what was happening was just part of a  "prank" being filmed) Moss was attempting to call for assistance, when Farson came up behind her, grabbed the telephone cord, and strangled Moss with it. 

Moss was the daughter of Fred and Charlene Moss, who live in Laguna Niguel.  She has two sisters, Donna and Shanda, and an older brother, Jack, a Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton.
