WITNESS: John Williams
ADDRESS: Asheville, North Carolina
STATEMENT:
I don't really remember much. I was just talking to
Charity here about the elections in Asheville, back home. I know she wasn't paying much attention, but gosh, she never does. I just talk to her to help clear my head. Next thing I know she's wallering around
in the bushes over yonder, and sort of yelling for me to come look.
I couldn't believe what I was seeing. You go out walking, and you end up sitting in the same place for hours. Just because your
girlfriend finds a dead body. Man-o-day.
I reckon Charity took the cellphone and called ya'll up. I sure didn't do anything. I couldn't. I've been hunting, fishing, out in the woods all the time. Never
have found a body. Probably never would have if it wasn't for Charity.
Leave it to Charity. Man-o-day.
